A Fond Farewell

As you know Grub Club Cambridge has been hugely successful and will continue to be so. However, it is with a heavy heart on both parts that co-founder Kelly Molson has decided to hang up her Grub Clubbing shoes.

A fond farewell from Co-founder Kelly.

Many of you know that the last couple of years have been difficult for myself and my partner Lee, and I’ve been sharing our IVF journey over on my personal blog, www.moretolifethancheese.co.uk

Come December time we are going to have our hands extremely full with the arrival of our first child and we are completely over the moon. Now feels like the right time to bow out of Grub Club.

I came to live in Cambridge 5 years ago, knowing less than a handful of people. 3 years ago I stumbled upon the Cambridge Business Lounge and began co-working from there to help build my network. Ed Goodman the owner and now good friend introduced me to Vhari. We talked about the lack of professional food based networking in the city. The rest is history.

I’m immensely proud of what we’ve achieved. Grub Club Cambridge has won and been finalists for many awards, but more importantly, we’ve created a platform that promotes Cambridge-based producers, retailers and venues. We’ve made connections for people to allow them to grow their businesses and it’s that I’m the proudest of. Many of you have become good friends and I’m eternally grateful for your support, and for being made so welcome here.

Vhari will be carrying on with Grub Club so for you, nothing changes. The next event is definitely one not to be missed! 11th July the very talented Estefania of Que Rico Tapas will be cooking up a Spanish storm at the Cambridge Wine Merchants, Cherry Hinton. Tickets are on sale now on the website www.grubclubcambridge.co.uk

I have a few new ideas up my sleeves and lots of new things I want to focus my energy on, you can find out a bit more about them over on my blog www.kellymolson.co.uk

This won’t be the last you see of me, I’ll just have a tiny person attached to me by then, and that makes my heart very happy.

Much love

Kelly
