Our sponsor for this event is Alistair Grant of Bokeh Photographic.

Food Photographer, Commercial Photographer, Portrait Photographer, Event Photographer and Photography Training in Cambridgeshire and across the East of England.

A photographer since first picking up a ‘proper’ (i.e. 35mm film SLR) camera at the age of ten Alistair set up bokeh photographic in 2011 after working for over 20 years in clinical academia; a career that included a Research Fellowship at the University of Cambridge and heading-up an NHS Research & Clinical Trials Unit. Although he works across several photographic disciplines, including teaching photography in Cambridge, Alistair’s specialty is food and drink photography. His scientific background allows him to master the highly technical nature of food photography and so produce striking images that make great food & drink look as appetising as it tastes. Even though he frequently works with corporate clients Alistair is best known for providing photographic services to small and medium enterprise. He particularly enjoys the challenge of producing eye-catching images for start-ups that do not have the budget and resources of larger businesses. Alistair has won photographic awards and his commercial images are regularly seen in advertising campaigns, on labels & packaging and in-store on point-of-sale display media.

Alistair will be speaking to us on the topic: Shouldn’t you be asking your photographer these questions?
