Festive (virtual) Networking in Association with Delishops
- posted in: Blog

Well, it was our first ever online networking food event and it’s fair to say it was great fun! After so many months apart, it was wonderful to welcome 38 participants from food-related businesses online for a 2-hour fun-packed networking evening.
It was lovely to see so many new faces, some Christmas hats, and a very focused dog!
Grub Club simply wouldn’t be the same without enjoying some delicious food. And we certainly weren’t disappointed! The day before the event every attendee was sent a HUGE selection of treats to sample and enjoy.
We would like to say a huge thank you to all the businesses that contributed to this stunning array of products. It was so lovely to sample so many wonderful new delights. We encourage you to check out their products online and show them support by following them on social media.

This lot is going to keep us all going till Christmas!
We can’t forget to mention the wonderful Charlie from Delishops, who hosted the evening and organised everyone into break-out rooms throughout the proceedings. Each breakout session we were given a different topic to discuss for 10 mins with 5-6 attendees and to maximise the networking potential, attendees were shuffled around.
Of course, no Christmas party is complete without a quiz! Although most of us were well into the bottle of Aloha65 by then! So well done to all the winners!
We are planning a second virtual networking event in February, so watch this space!
