From 6th – 31st Jan Fired Up are running a pop up Wood Fired Pizzeria at No.77 in Caxton. Grub Club Cambridge went along to the launch event on Saturday to check it out.

We were treated to fizz and delicious nibbles on arrival, along with a very warm and friendly greeting from Fired Up owners Nancy & Rory. We bumped into good friend Pina & Paulo from One Two Culinary Stew and shared a fun filled table with them.

The menu is filled with delicious Italian style starters, sides & desserts, all complemented by a hand picked selection of boutique Italian wines & cocktails. There’s mini pizzas for little ones, and the pizzas come with a gluten free option too.

I chose the unpronounceable (for me!) Nduja, which is a spicy spreadable sausage from Calabria, Italy. Lee went for the spicy sausage with roasted peppers, and we all shared garlic bread and a fresh rocket salad with parmesan shavings. The portions sizes were very generous and all the food was delicious!

To top it all off we had great live music, the place was really heaving and had a fantastic buzz about it. We had to shoot off early but it looked like the party was only just getting started!

There will be other free entertainment experiences for all ages at No.77 on select dates in January, including live music, pizza making sessions, & Italian themed Cinema Sunday film season.

You must get along if you can, the pizzas are incredible

Thank you for a great evening!
