Meatballmonth
Our November event was a celebration of Meatballs, well it is #meatballmonth after all! The event was hosted by Amelie the UK’s first Flam Kuche restaurant located in the Grafton Centre. Owner and Head Chef Regis, along with son Alex, were wonderful hosts. It was great to discover the delights of their French Fire Bread, we would highly recommend you stop and dine with them next time you are visiting the Centre.

Amelie Networking
It was a wonderful evening with wine tasting from Nethergate wines, who kindly shared three incredible wines with us. It was great to arrive to a glass of fizz, followed by a glass of white wine and then red to accompany our meatball Flam Kuche.
We were delighted to reveal the official launched our new Grub Club Events group in the Northamptonshire/Leicestershire area, this group will be run with us and Joff. We hope you can make the first event on the 3rd of December at Warners Distillery, tickets are available here.
John Farrand
During the evening, John Farrand the MD of the Guild of Fine Food enlighted us all about how the guild has evolved and what it has to offer producers and retailers. We are all so familiar with the Great Taste Awards and it was wonderful to hear more about them, as they have been part of the food landscape for 25 years.
Meatball Flam-Kuche
As a donation from each ticket was going to #meatballmonth it was great to hear from its inspirational founder Micheal McGrath about what a difference the charity makes to those aged 8 – 28 with life-limiting muscular dystrophy. We were all spellbound by the story of a young man from Edinburgh who achieved is muscle dream to interview Al Pachino. The charity delivers muscle dreams for young people and we were delighted to hold a raffle on the night and raise £266.00. We would like to say a huge thank you to: The Brook, Vine and Cork, Kale and Damson, WBC, Scarlett and Mustard and Velvet Magazine for their generous donations of raffle prizes.
Thanks so much to all who came and supported the evening we raised £330.00 on the night!!
We are planning some more incredible events in 2020, so keep an eye on the website for dates and further details.
