It was an absolute pleasure working with Vhari and the team from Grub Club - Their professionalism and efficiency really made for a fantastic evening! Being a new concept in Cambridge - we immediately wanted to immerse ourselves with the food professionals of the area and Grub Club, being the centre of all these food networks, was the best place to meet like-minded individuals who wanted to discover new food & wine as well as talk about all things foodie! The events they host bring people from all backgrounds looking to enjoy an informal evening creating new relationships and memories around food and wine, and for us at Amelie, that is life!www.amelierestaurants.co.ukLucy Warhurst - Percival & Co
"A fun-filled evening of networking teamed with the most delicious food - Grub club is just such a wonderful idea. I met loads of really interesting people across the food and drink industry and it was a such a warm, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. I will definitely be back!"www.percivalandco.comLUCA - GRAIN CULTURE
"I attended Grub Club by chance, as a friend of mine had a spare ticket and invited me to join her. At that time Grain Culture was still very much a project rather than a business, but I did manage to make same valuable connections that soon turned out very useful."@GrainCultureVICTOR SACKS - VS ASSOCIATES
"I was looking for a networking group with a difference... Not just the usual one minute introduction and spend all evening trying to arrange a meeting, but one where you can chat with like-minded business owners about business sure, but also finding out more about the people who are around you. Over some fantastic food & drink, Grub Club is a great way to enjoy networking finding out more about people you haven't met before in a relaxed, fun environment - I look forward to going again."VSAssociates.co.ukVICTORIA MCNEILL - BRITISH HERB KITCHEN

Networking over dinner, trying out new venues and concepts, whilst really getting to know people around you is fun, interesting and a relaxing experience."appetiteforsuccess.co.ukCHRISTOPHER FAULKNER - FOUNDER OF THE FOOD SERVICE EXPERT
"The Cambridge Grub Club is an excellent way of meeting local foodies in an environment that encourages ideas and the sharing of experiences. Held in interesting venues, the evenings are a mixture of great food and drink and conversations with people who care about the food industry in some way or other. I leave most evenings with at least a good contact or a new idea."www.thefoodserviceexpert.co.ukALICE RYAN – VELVET MAGAZINE
"Vhari and her team are the best of hosts. Attend a Grub Club gathering and you're guaranteed good food, good drink, good conversation. . . and some good names for your contacts book, too."www.velvetmag.co.ukJoanna Plumb - Edible Ornamentals
The networking part of the evening was amazing with everyone chatting and swapping contact details. We’ve already had several meetings with the some of the attendees and it’s only been a week since we hosted the event. All in all, the event was a huge success with meeting new people and creating working relationship with several of the people in the room. I highly recommend hosting or attending Grub Club Cambridge meetings. You won’t regret it and you will profit from going.www.chilliranch.co.ukSabrina Zeif - KITCHEN THYME
I always thoroughly enjoy attending Grub Club Cambridge. The environment is relaxed and the speakers are inspiring. The most rewarding benefit for me has been the ideas which I have picked up, the valuable contacts i have made and the great help and advice available.www.kitchenthyme.comTracy Grazioli - Santander Plc
“Just wanted to say a huge thank you for inviting me to speak at the Grub Club evening & explain Santander’s International proposition including our Trade Portal in a superb location with delicious food. The event was well attended by different businesses who were very friendly giving a warm welcoming atmosphere ! The feedback from everyone has been fantastic ! Everything ran smoothly & the evening turned out perfectly. It was also a great pleasure to have you Vhari speak about the wonderful experience you had on the Santander Chile Trade Mission – thank you.”www.santander.co.ukKatie Moore - allotment cafe
I was thrilled to be able to host a Grub Club Cambridge event with the team from NOVI as it is always such a wonderful lively evening. As a small-scale producer, it gave me a unique opportunity to showcase my food to a room full of like-minded people in a welcoming environment and open doors to exciting future collaborations. Great fun whether in the kitchen or sat around the dinner table!www.allotmentcafe.comStephen Marsh - Pinkster Gin
“I have yet to come away from a Grub Club Cambridge event without at least one interesting connection made that has resulted in a business transaction; be it a food photographer or new stockist. I enjoy meeting other producers away from food fairs and comparing notes. It is way too much fun to be considered networking”www.pinkstergin.comClaire Martinsen – Breckland Orchard
“Grub Club Cambridge is an amazing networking platform for everyone involved in food and drink - great food and great people. The common link means that partnerships are forged; ideas exchanged and lively debate is always on the menu! I’ve never failed to come away inspired”www.brecklandorchard.co.ukGerla de Boer – Cambridge Food Tour
“Grub Club Cambridge is not only a great social event combined with delicious food, but an excellent networking opportunity for local food businesses. I have come across some very interesting new and existing products, which I would not have met or known of otherwise. The Grub Club is a vital part for running my food walking business. In some cases I have incorporated them in my tours and in other cases I share them with guests on my tours. As customers are becoming more aware of the need of good produce, events like this will only grow” www.cambridgefoodtour.comFrankie Fox - The Foraging Fox
“I always really look forward to attending Cambridge Grub Club events as they are a fantastic opportunity to network with other people in the food industry in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. We have met some great contacts and generated business from people we have met through these events. We would really recommend attending as the events are always really creatively curated, showcasing the best of the members produce or venues, they are well organised, well attended and most importantly really fun!”www.foragingfox.comNeil Bharadwa - Cambridge Fruit Company
“As a regular business networker, I find that Kelly and Vhari's Grub Clubs are my favourite. There’s always something different, the menus are great, but most importantly the people I meet are fantastic”www.cambridgefruitcompany.comEddie Stableford - Brand Clock
“Vhari and Kelly through Grub Club deliver a fabulous combination of food sector knowledge and expertise with enthusiasm and an eye for doing something a little different which sees their clients enjoy an excellent return on investment”www.brandclock.co.ukRobert H Gunn - Tastes of Anglia Ltd
"These days business men and women are overwhelmed with opportunities to network on a general basis, but how many who attend find the experience worthwhile? Grub Club Cambridge was launched with a purpose: to bring together on a periodic basis, the food industry professionals of the region and beyond for meaningful networking in varied locations, accompanied by quality food and refreshment. A year on and with their next event fully sold a month in advance, GCC goes from strength to strength. With events in farm shops, gastro-pubs and cookery schools to their name they are now planning an event in conjunction with the Food Matters Live Show at the ExCel, London in November. Not to be missed!"www.tastesofanglia.org.ukPhilip Turner - The Chestnut Group
"The Chestnut Group (owner of The Rupert Brooke) is passionate about championing local producers, and ensuring that our kitchens develop individual relationships with suppliers that support their region. We have had a long association with Pinkster Gin, hence the opportunity for our Chefs to develop a tailor-made gin orientated menu for such a food-appreciative audience was too good to miss. Well done to Vhari and Kelly - we loved hosting the Grub Club and would love to work further with you in campaigning to ‘keep it local’."www.therupertbrooke.comTIM HAYWARD - FITZBILLIES
"Why we wanted to host a Grub Club is really very simple. Restaurants and food businesses talk a great game about ‘local’ producers and ingredients but that’s not something you can just buy of the shelf. The most important manifestation of ‘localism’ is a strong network with your fellow businesses. Amongst food people, connections are best made around the dinner table so we saw an immediate commercial advantage in hosting… quite apart from the fact it was an opportunity to sit down and have some great food with some lovely people. We can’t wait for the next one."www.fitzbillies.comALEX RUSHMER - CHEF
"I chose to host a Grub Club because it was a wonderful opportunity for me to share my food and ideas regarding hospitality with a receptive audience of like-minded individuals. The food scene in and around Cambridge is so vibrant and exciting and I feel that The Hole in the Wall is an integral part of that. As an independent restaurateur it made a lot of sense to open up my dining room to other independent and entrepreneurially minded food service professionals from a wide variety of backgrounds across the industry. I am looking forward to seeing plenty of new faces in the restaurant and sharing ideas, ingredients and passions with them long into the future."Rob Tate - Appetite Me
“I came along to The Grub Club hoping to make a few new contacts but not really having that high a hope for what was essentially another 'work' night. Turns out I was completely wrong - Grub Club proved to be a brilliant evening with delicious food and drink and a fantastic crowd of food industry minds that was such fun and so engaging that I actually forgot I was there in the name of 'work'! I met some brilliant new contacts and had some great conversations about what's new on the food front in the East of England and further afield - I'm really looking forward to the next Grub Club evening and will be telling other work contacts to come along too!”Emma Frobes - Kents Kitchen
“I heard about the Grub Club through Vhari and was keen to come along and spend the evening with others in the industry, but wasn’t expecting the fantastic evening I had. There was a great crowd of people involved in the food and drinks business – manufacturers, retailers, photographers and PRs - and the evening was the perfect mix. Best of all was the food and drink that accompanied the mingling. Some superb (I ate far too many but couldn’t seem to stop!) savoury muffins, delicious local meats and cheese, all produced by others attending, were accompanied by a truly wonderful choice of wines sold by the delightful wine merchants where the evening took place. It’s always nice to network and meet others that move in the same industry as you, but the journey from Sevenoaks to Cambridge to meet those that are not local was really worth it. What more do you want from an evening than interesting chats, great food and fabulous wine? Really enjoyable and great to make some new connections.”
