We have loved chatting to Tara about the Kitchen Table Projects and discuss thoughts and ideas with her over the last year. She has been a great supporter of Grub Club Cambridge, and has met many of you at our events.

Last week were delighted to see the launch of the Pop Up Shop in Old Street tube station, and the first class of Artisan Springboard.

The shop offers those local to Old Street and the thousands that pass through it every day, the opportunity to buy some wonderful products from established brand such as Scarlett & Mustard to brand new artisans such as Morso, Granny Tigg’s and the London Marshmallow Company.

The shop offers a delicious array of eat in or takeaway food including cakes from Mr Mom’s, which we can confirm are very very good, we particularly like the fruit and nut brownie. The lay out of the store is great and has one counter not many stores have, that is the Your Say Counter. There is a wall of tablets next to the 11 Artisan Springboard attendees products for customers to offer their feedback about specific questions that producer has asked. Thus enabling them to get valuable customer feedback.

In the first week the store had over 2,300 customers all coming to see what is on offer, so next time you are in London please go and check it out.

They will be opening for their second intake for the Artisan Springboard soon, so get in touch if you want to spring board your products.
