Alex Rushmer From Masterchef to Vanderlyle
We loved speaking to Alex Rushmer, a Masterchef finalist, about all things foodie and how being part of MasterChef changed his life. Alex previously ran the restaurant Hole in the Wall, which closed in 2017. He has now opened a new restaurant – Vanderlyle! Here is what he had to say.
SmokeWorks, Cambridge
We recently had the pleasure of visiting SmokeWorks in Cambridge, as they had kindly invited us to come and check it out. So it was a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a trip to Cambridge to combine food and culture, who doesn’t love a trip to the Fitzwilliam Museum?
As many parents will know, it is always hard to find a restaurant that caters for everyone’s tastes. On this occasion, it was two adults and five kids, ranging in age from 7 – 14, with one veggie.
