Thaikhun Cambridge

We were delighted to be asked to attend the Thaikhun launch of their cookery classes. The event was great fun and we learnt how to make Spring rolls and pad Thai.

Thaikhun is a small chain of Thai restaurants. They have 7 restaurants across the country with a further 8 planned for 2016. They offer great Thai cuisine in a colourful setting, making you feel that you are in Thailand rather than Cambridge.

The evening was a great balance of learning, eating and having fun. The chef was very engaging and encouraged us to try many of the ingredients in the dishes, which were great.

Having not made spring rolls before and not realising how easy they were to make and what fun, it was great to learn this new recipe. It did get a little competitive when the chef said he would judge who’s were the best. Thankfully for us Vhari pulled it out of the bag!

Our group consisted of 12 people and that offered a fun dining experience and the opportunity to meet new people.

The cookery classes are starting in Spring 2016 with the Cooking Class starting at 12.15pm – 2.00 pm (approximate). It costs £40 per person, or there is a special offer of £60 for 2 people, if brought before the 31st January.
