The Power of Networking

Building a strong network of business contacts is extremely valuable within the food industry. Grub Club Cambridge is a Foodie networking group that can help you develop business relationships, share advice and strengthen your brand through collaborations.

As we approach our 3 year birthday bash we decided to ask our regular attendees what they enjoy about our networking events. Here’s what they said:

First up was Max MacGillivray of Redfox Executive Selection Ltd and The Great Fruit & Veg Adventure

What do you do in our delicious foodie world?
I run a recruitment consultancy called Redfox that sources key individuals for leading clients in the Agri-Business, Fresh Produce & Retail sectors. I also founded The Great Fruit & Veg Adventure that is transforming how kids their schools & families view amazing fresh produce & to encourage them to consume & enjoy more.

Why have you enjoyed attending Grub Club Cambridge?
There is a common theme with all those that attend & that is the love of food. I have met some amazing people who’s passion for using only the best ingredients & the best fresh produce just shines through. For networking on a professional & social basis as well cannot be beaten!

What has been the most rewarding benefit of attending?
For me it has been meeting Vhari. You could see the passion she has for the sector in the way she makes sure everyone gets as much as possible from what she has created. We have subsequently gone onto use her & her team on “The Great Fruit & Veg Adventure” & she has created a real point of difference for what we are looking to achieve via her network & her prestigious food experience.
